We provide in-home ABA therapy for children with autism in Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding Inland Empire communities.

We work with children who have autism and related developmental needs, right in the home where they live and learn. Our goal is practical: help your child communicate, handle hard moments, and take part in daily life with your family.

We are a family-owned and clinician-owned agency. Sessions happen in your home, and the plan is built around your child.

Our therapy uses evidence-based ABA methods like Skill-Based Treatment (SBT), which teaches communication and coping skills so children have safer ways to get their needs met, and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), which builds skills through play and the routines your child already knows.

Meet Our Founders

Ascent ABA is led by the same people who set our clinical standards. Jonathan and Jessica started Ascent ABA because they wanted to help children make meaningful progress and develop clinicians who make a difference.

Jonathan Carrillo, MA, BCBA — Executive Director
He holds Ascent ABA to the standard he would want for his own family: sound treatment plans, careful hiring, and clinicians who are ready before they walk into your home. He is a member of this community, and he wants Inland Empire families to have quality care close by.

Jessica Carrillo, MA, BCBA — Clinical Director
Jessica oversees clinical care: assessments, treatment plans, and the supervision behind every session. She works closely with parents so goals are written in plain language and fit the routines your family already has. She also leads training for our behavior technicians, because the quality of care depends on the people delivering it.

They hold graduate degrees in ABA with advanced training in PRT, SBT, and ACT. Their experience spans direct therapy, assessments, supervising and building ABA programs, opening new regions for larger ABA companies, and serving as directors of other agencies.

Jonathan and Jessica live and raise their own family here in the Inland Empire, so they built the kind of agency they would want to call for their own child.

How We Support Our Behavior Technicians

The person in your living room each week matters as much as the plan on paper.

• Training before they work independently. Every behavior technician completes initial training and testing in-house, so they arrive prepared for your child’s program.

• RBT training. Every behavior technician completes Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training.

• Ongoing education. We require mandatory ongoing education, so our behavior technicians keep their skills current and aligned with best practices.

• Ongoing supervision by a BCBA. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst oversees the plan, observes sessions, and updates goals as your child progresses.

• Weekly feedback on quality. We review session attendance, learning opportunities provided, clinical performance, and timely insurance documentation every week.

• Hiring for the long term. We look for behavior technicians who will stay, because consistency matters to your child’s progress.
